3D Visualization in Air Traffic Control

چکیده
With the two-dimension (2D) radar screen, current visualization interface has reached its limits in term of quantities of information that should be made available to controllers. Our investigation consists in the use of three-dimension (3D) stereoscopic visualization as controllers’ interface, assuming that 3D environment provides possibilities to incorporate additional information such as weather and terrain so that to improve the efficiency of Air Traffic Control (ATC) tasks controllers. This paper aims at the issue of modeling and representation of ATC elements under the conviviality constraints Keywords— ATC, 3D visualization, modeling, acquisition.
